Reprint Permission / Photo Requests

Permission to reprint articles and photos may be obtained by submitting a written request to:

Before submitting a request, please check if the material to be used is copyrighted to another source; if so, permission must be obtained from the credited source rather than from S`NS.

Permission requests must contain the following information:

Articles

• Author and title of the article
• Year, issue, and page number in which it appeared
• Purpose of reprint; for classroom use, include the school, teacher, course, and semester
• To whom (for whom) the material will be distributed
• If you have a deadline, please specify and we will do our best to meet it.
• Specify where you’d like it sent

Photos

• Photographer’s name
• Issue date and page number (describe which photo, if several appear)
• Purpose of reproduction
• To whom the reprint will be distributed
• How you’d like the image to be sent
• If you have a deadline, please specify and we will do our best to meet it.
• Please specify where to send the image(s)
