In the eighth and final stop of the PVA/NWPA National Wheelchair Billiards Tournament Series, Charlie Hans captures top spot in the Chicago Classic Wheelchair 8-Ball Tournament and also the series title.

Juniors

Tammy Wilber benefits from camping experience as a teen and now, as a coach, helps other disabled youth build self-confidence and social skills.

Players

Friends encourage Greg Drown back to the shooting range where he regains the championship form he had as a member of the Ohio State University rifle team before he was disabled. Also: Jared Riggle and Scott Winkler.

Awareness of the Paralympics by Americans has risen dramatically as a result of the U.S. Olympic Committee's involvement in overseeing the Paralympic movement. Also: Wheelchair-tennis tournament in Muncie, Ind., is an example of how lesser-known events can get people involved in the sport.
